can a 24v cylinder head from a 1990 124 300e 24 valve engine be retrofitted to the 12 valve 300 petrol engine. Does this pose any special problems?

id expect the fueling to be different so the ecu would also be different . possibly even the piston crowns could be different , not imo worth doing , better off going for the entire engine transplant if thats the case.
