I have a C200 S reg W202 automatic. I want to be able to read fault codes, and also use a laptop to either look at fault codes from the car.
The car is not in the UK, I live in the UK, and the car itself seems to get many annoying electrical problems.
I have been looking on ebay at some of the things available.

Would this work on my car, and would I be able to read most ECU codes from it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Code-Reader-S...1QQihZ006QQcategoryZ30921QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/L-K-OBD2-EOBD...1QQihZ012QQcategoryZ30921QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CAR-DIAGNOSTI...0QQihZ006QQcategoryZ30921QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

which of these would work with my car

and this one below, is this pc based, and would it work with my car

I find it funny on two of those links, the same unit, one says it will do MB the other says it will not.
Most diagnosis tools costing more than £1k sold to the trade are not MB compliant. To do anything much worthwhile on a MB you need to spend £2.5k min.

Your cars to old to be OBD2 compliant.American spec cars had it well in advance to us.Even the £14 job does work on cars that are however.
The last one must need software to work.I would ask the seller.

I take it my car is OBD1 then. I guess I would have to email a few of the sellers for more details then.
