HI ALL

Does anyone know what the voltage should be at the connector that plugs into the fan. I have a w203 c220 cdi 2001.

Dash Diplaying Coolant Visit Workshop
Temp moves up to normal and car does not over heat but fan not kicking in

My question is what should be the voltage at the connector where it plugs into the fan.

I have the following wires:

1. Thick Red (Positive always on 12 v) (12/14 volts continuos)
2. Thick Brown (Ground)
3. Black/White Strips (Ignition) (3.46 vol when ignition on)
4. Green/blue stripe. ( No Power even with ignition on)

Looking at that can anyone tell me if this is faulty or how else I can test it, what the voltages should be??

I am stuck at the moment but I think the wiring is faulty somewhere. As i have tested thermostat all sensors apart from AC pressure as i dunno where it is.

Thanks for your help in advance if you guys need photos let me know.

Did the fan works all time at maximum speed? I had the same now: "coolant! visit workshop". I found a fuse shot ( 54 +/-) and the fan works continuous. I wonder if it's a common defect for W203 and if somebody solve it easy.
Thanks!
