Hi,

Could anyone advise me as I have a ML270CDI on a 2000 X plate and the cooling fan will not work. Under normal driving conditions the temp stays normal so I presume the fan is not needed but when we go up the mountain where we live the vehicle gets very hot as the fan will not come on. We have checked that power is going to the fan and it has a constant supply when the vehicle is running. We have changed the fuse for the fan and it moves forward ever so slightly but it will not run constantly.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I thought that you had a visco engine fan on that car, or is that one running OK and it is the rad fan or fans that are not coming on
