Correct diff oil - 2007 E220D Estate 170hp

Hi Folks

Been trying to find the right stuff online and it varies.

Have an annoying noise coming from the drive train like a noisy bearing. Getting both auto gear box and diff oils changed. Th.e gearbox is easy to find online but the diff is another matter

Can anyone assist.

Should be TITAN SINTOPOID FE SAE 75W-85, around 1.6 litres.

I got the information from HERE, which is a site I've used many times without issue.

Unfortunately, I doubt that changing the differential oil will make much difference to a noisy one, could it possibly be the centre bearing on the prop causing the noise? A diff noise is usually a high pitched whine, affected by speed. It may be worth checking the drive train while you have it up in the air.
