correct ignition timing for 107 500sl

Can anyone please tell me the correct timing for my 107 engine no.117 500sl
there is nothing under bonnet suggesting what it should be for my vehicle.

Many thanks for your help I have looked at the thread with some interest,my engine is a 117960, and the thread covers a 117963 but this is certainly going to be some help.
