Correct Oil for a C180

Hi there,

I'm new, so hello to all. My friend has just bought a 1999 T plate Mercedes C180 Classic.

We're going to give the car a service on saturday, what oil would you reccommend for the car, it's got 65,000 on the clock currently.

Hello Matt and welcome, re the oil if it has been dealer maintained it should have had Mobil 1, take a look in the rear of the service book, it could state what oil was used.

You can buy it over the net at around £30 for 4 liters or places like Cosco etc its expensive from MB. do use an MB filter the are different from the others, at £8
