correct oil in a 307/ 410D T1, sprinter 711 113 gearbox

I am just about to put in a second hand 711 113 overdrive box in my 410D and i seem to rememebr some where that the correct oil to use changed in the production of these boxes and depending on what the serial number is, is what oil to use. Does anyone have any info on this?

My data is saying;

Transmission code: G1/18-5 use MB235.1
Transmission code NOT G1/18-5 use MB236.2

My Mercedes handbook/maintenance which came with the van says Sheet number MB236.2 Use MB235.1 80grade if raised letters on gearbox filler plug.

Annoyingly my data does not list a capacity for that gearbox

Approx 2.3 litres
