Correct tyre size

Hi folks, a newbie owner of a 1999 Merc A160, we have 185/55/15 on the front & 195/55/15 on the back. Not sure which is the correct tyre size. Also trying to track down an owners hand book, can anyone help? Thanks....

Hello and welcome to the forum, the handbook can be got from any MB dealer about £15 and well worth having.

Your tyre size could be in the petrol lid.

This would appear to be so, an awful lot of pages to print off, handy to read though while waiting for the book

The correct size for the A160 is 195-50-15
I still have 2 ot them: Pirelli P6000 with about 7mm left on them.
They are on Merc steel rims with an offset of 43.
Free to anyone who wants to collect them
