- C250 estate S205. 2014 2.1l diesel.
My C250 diesel S205 went into the dealership recently to have the EWL diagnosed.
Needed a new battery. I fitted one the day after. Stop/start works again too.
They also replaced Nox sensor(s) and software updates which was done under a recall. I'd had a previous recall letter about an airbag issue but not about this. From what I've read on here / other sites vehicles are not actually recalled but will be fixed at MB expense. I'm happy though.
However, I'm then told that I have a coolant leak and the fuel filter housing is cracked. Circa £400 to replace!
The more I mull this over I've become suspicious. Could the dealership tech have inadvertently damaged the fuel filter casing during the nox sensor work? Or are they not near each other.
Car is going back in tomorrow as the EWL was back on when I collected last week!
Thank you.
