what will happen when driving the car when the CPS is on the way out ie;what will i notice when driving that is different from normal and should make me concerned

What will happen is that the engine will just stop, it will crank over but not fire up. 80% of them only fail when warm, and the car will start again once cooled a little where the cycle repeats itself. Others can just fail where the engine will not start at all. You can measure them and when good they are 1k ohms, when bad, infinity or maybe 100k ohms
