Cruise Control C180

The Cruise Control on my 1998 C180 Elegance (42,00 miles) has stopped working for no apparant reason. The only work recently done was a replacement windscreen. Any ideas what could be the cause?

Also check tyre pressures and tyre wear.

See recent post in general forum where problem was break pad wear.

Thanks for the replys. I have discovered that the high level brake light unit is faulty. Could this possibly be the problem?
