Hi

I had a problem with my cruise control dropping out at speed, it would work fine and then all of a sudden I would find myself slowing down. It was suggested that the ESP was sensing that one wheel was going faster than the other due to 1 tyre being slightly more worn than the other which the computer thought was wheel spin.

When I had the MOT done, it was suggested that 1 tyre was getting low and an advisory was given. When I found that the price for a tyre was reasonable I decided to get a pair, thus my cruise control is now behaving itself, did about 150 miles on fast roads over the weekend and not 1 drop out.

So anyone with the same problem I would suggest a pair of rear tyres will cure it.

Cheers

Derek
