Does anyone know if its possible to fit cruise control to a 1991 300e saloon? And how much it might be? Im thinking of getting one and I would like this extra. Thanks.

Yes its possible to retrofit, but would be very expensive as finding the parts will be difficult

being logical everyhting can be retrofitted, its the overall cost and availability thats the issue.

seen a few stalk assemblies and an 'ecu'/controller pop up on eBay a few times just no idea of the 'how to' element of it.

you would need a good indy for the job with access to wiring diagrams for a W124, stalks, ecu, maybe fuse box upgrade, loom, time to dismatle lots and reassrmble. The simple fact its a W124 means obtaining the above can be difficult.

Doubt it is a job many if any have done here. A tedious job but not impossible.

Have you looked on peach parts - they were great for parts on my W124, but thats going back a while.
