The key problem is the way the underseal has peeled back....and general lack of protection at the front.

So thats a pair of genuine Mercedes Benz panels.
Why would anyone want to buy another set of those wings ?
Not suprised people choose different makes.
Mercedes should hang their heads in shame looking at that.

Could not agree more. I was a loyal customer but after what happened with Merc in 2K in respect to rust protection I have decided to not buy anything from this maker.

I've got to say that's absolutely dire. Penny-pinching at its worst. Look at how the original factory-applied underseal is only in a narrow strip (which presumably just about covers what would be directly exposed under the wheel arch). No thought to the rest of the panel - in particular up towards the front too - where all the weather and crap hits first...

Truly terrible.

Notice how inconsistent it is too. On the o/s wing the strip of underseal starts about 2 or 3 inches further back than the other side. Coincidence that this is the worst of the two panels?

I can justifiably use my favourite word in this case - execrable!

I mentioned on another thread about edge corrosion and those wings clearly evidence the problem.

Yes this and all of the products are the best on the market,
