Just received a letter From Mercedes that the cylinder heads on the M260 engine have had their warranty extended to 15 years or 241,000 km.

This affects 2019 - 2022 A-Class, CLA, GLA, GLB vehicles.
Tightness of the exhaust valves might be impaired due to increased wear on the exhaust valve seat rings and valve guides which may cause insufficiently sealed combustion chambers and subsequently thermodynamic imbalances leading to rough engine running, missfires and high out of spec emission values. Any of these symptoms may cause the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) to illuminate. This is not a safety issue and no specific precautions need to be taken.
