I'm buying a "55" CLS with command and Harman-Kardan logic & speakers. I have a Blaupunkt Nashville DAB35 head unit fitted in my Merc C class. The line outs of the head unit are rated at 3v. If I shoehorned the unit into the space where the ashtray should be, could I use the aux in of the command to receive the signal? Obviously I would need a DAB aerial as well.
Is this the same aux in that is used for the i-pod controller? If it is, I also have a Harman-Kardon stand-alone i-pod controller which can plug into the back of the Nashville unit.
Would that all work?
Also the car is fitted with a phone cradle for a Nokia. Do you know if the Viseo unit works with a LG U990?

Thanks for any help. Cheers, Bob.

Hello and welcome. the AUX socket is in the side of the glove box,, the antenna is a bit harder,,you cannot just split the normal car antenna without an amp split box, though these are on Ebay now from time to time.

With phones I know nothing:(

Thanks Malcolm. The DAB aerial shouldn't be a problem, I have used a screen one already on the C Class and I won't be using FM etc on the Blaupunkt. It was just the voltage of the line-outs that I was worried about.

If anybody else knows if LGs will work with a Viseo I would be grateful, as I don't want to buy it if it isn't compatible.
Cheers, Bob.
