Hi all,

Was trying to get to the bulbs for the heater knobs, but couldnt! Its easy on my 123, but the e220 (cab) seems bit too much effort....

Its not the bulb on the actual knob - that would be too simple, its the ones that light up the surround of the knob and the temp thing...

Tried removing the sides of the footwells to get too it, but no luck, do i have to remove the centre console? If so, how, a quick look around and i couldnt see any screws... I dont like prying too much with screwdrivers as u usually end up with something that wont go back as it was before.....

Anyway, an insight would be appreciated...

Hi There

On my estate 124 you need to remove the heater knobs and then the nuts behind them. You also need to remove the screws holding the heater control facia on, I think some are accessed by removing the ash tray. Doesn't take long once you identify the right screws.

Good Luck
