Data protection question

Need some advice on data protection if I may.

I bought some mercedes parts from a local dealer, I had a dispute with a customer who decided to go directly to mercedes for a copy of the invoice for the parts supplied to me, they did give this customer a copy of the invoice which showed the parts purchased and the price, the invoice also has my name and address on the invoice.
This was all done without my prior knowledge.

What should I do.

If you intend to "get serious" about this, consult a solicitor.

I would say that they have breached the DPA by supplying infomation to a 3rd party of a transaction between you and the dealer. Not only have they given out your name & address but may have also shown any mark up you may have charged on the parts.
It now depends on what you want to achieve as to what further action to take.

A lesson to learn perhaps. Ah!, we are all always learning new things everyday.
