I have a 2 yr old c-class. On cold mornings it mists up so badly inside that condensation runs down the windows and the rear view mirror. It takes 10-15 minutes to clear well enough to drive. Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing the same?
I have experienced a few mist problems, I find that driving home with the air-con on very cold and recirculating the air in the cabin as a good way to remove damp air, so that the next morning the misting problem is much reduced.
Is your C class 202 or 203 If its 202 ignor what I am about to say
Get in the car switch on ignition only press the two lower left buttons on the control panel together and hold ( I think demist and recirc ) till they start to flash alternatley they should flash for 10 to 15 seconds then just one light stays on switch of ignition and leave for 10 minutes. This normalises heater flaps and should solve your problem. Just check that the OSR fotwell is not wet. if it is air con drain pipe has probably come off
