EQA 250+ 140kW AMG Line Premium 66.5kWh 5dr Auto
Hi there,

My MERCEDES-BENZ EQA 250+ 140kW AMG Line Premium 66.5kWh 5dr Auto was released from the factory in Germany this week. Is anyone aware of what general delivery times look like after being released from the factory (Ex-Factory) post-build? I am located in the UK.

Thanks

I'd expect another couple of weeks yet, potentially allowing another week or so for the unexpected.

Mine was as follows if it's any help though, as factory and dealership locations are probably different, times may vary: -

19/09/2019: Car left factory (Sindelfingen) and on way to docks
30/09/2019: Car on ferry (Rotterdam - Killngholme/Immingham) around 15:00.
02/10/2019: Car arrived at dealer (Norwich)
04/10/2019: Car with me

I can't remember what the delay was between it leaving the factory and boarding the ferry though it was a bit excessive and may be less than this now.

I had no prep done on mine by the dealership though as it went straight to my detailing guy when it arrived here, so it may be worth adding a day or two for the dealership to apply their usual scratches and paint marks. :)

Excellent, thank you so much for the detailed response. I think a lot has changed in the post covid world, especially with supply chains so everything is taking longer. I'd expect December is realistic.

I cannot think of anything that should delay your car for that length of time in getting to the UK.
All that needs to happen now is putting it on a boat, so 6 weeks seems excessive.
You will be hoping that I am correct. :D

P.S. I have never got to grips with the kW way of quoting engine power...its good old BHP for me. :geek:

I hope it has all you expect in it. We hear so many stories of features now being missed off as they struggle to get certain parts.
