My understanding is that all Mercedes cars are built to order, and the right-hand drive C-class cars are built in East London in South Africa.
So, after receipt of your order the works order is placed into the production schedule in the next available build 'slot', the car is built and then shipped from South Africa to the UK. No doubt the car passes through one or more distribution centres before it arrives at your MB retailer.
12-14 weeks for all of this is probably about right.
