Hi All,

I'm about to change the differential oil on my W124 200TE. I can see the drain plug but am not so sure about the location of the filler plug. I can feel something at the front of the final drive unit about three quarters of the way up. Is this the filler plug? Haynes manual just gives drain and fill instructions but doesn't actually tell me where the plugs are. Also, anyone know offhand what size of key to use?

Thanks for any and all help.

D.

Hi,

On my 123, the filler plug is exactly the same size as the drain and is located on the side of the diff above the drain plug. Its a large allen key.

Cheers

Jay
