disable Engine Pre-Heater (M18) in w203 220cdi

Good Morning,

I have a problem with the Engine Pre-Heater Part (M18 code), of my W203 220cdi (year 2004), it is possible work without that, how can be disabled in car settings ?

You could live without one - not all diesels have them and the one in our landrover was disconnected for a while recently at a recall, but in cold climates it will extend the warm up times considerably.
I'm not aware of a menu way to turn it off (other may though) but you could simply disconnect the power lead or maybe even just pull the fuse - depending on what else is on it.
why do you want to disable it?

Thats because it was in short-circuit, and discharge battery if is connected.
The Mechanic disconnect it and turn de engine on, but it works "unsicronized"...maybe it needs that module for some digital resistence.
