Guys, if I disconnect the battery (to remove it) will it be straight forward to reconnect or will I need codes or something?

Want to clean around the battery box etc. but just a bit nervous about disconnecting the battery in-case I'll need something from Mercedes to start the car?

Help please?

Nothing needed on your car Mark,, you will have to re set the widows and roof, along with the ESP. Just turn the steering from lock to lock 3 times,, and for the windows ,just close them and hold the switch in the up mode for 10 sec in Key2

Malcolm, thank you so much.

Assume K2 means 2nd position for the key when inserted in the ignition:?:

yes, and up mode on the switch means the first click, not the second.
