Is it ok to put my CDI injectors in a consumer style ultrasonic cleaner with some injector cleaner as the cleaning solution? (Probably not the whole injector but just the "sharp" end).

So I'm guessing that means it won't do any good either?

There is nothing wrong with the injectors, the truck is running beautifully, its just that I have to take 'em out to re-seal the very minor leaks at 2 of them. So it isn't worth me sending them off to be professionally serviced, but at the same time I'd hate to have to put them back in dirty.

No no I did not mean that,,I would leave them to soak first, and then clean,,I do not know if they are capable of shifting any caked on fuel, so why not try it, depending on the size of the cleaner, if it is a small one then do them one at a time

Well I did it yesterday on one of my injectors and I am quite pleased with the results. See attached before and after shots. That was after about half an hour in the cleaner using valvoline injector cleaner.

Thank you for that,, and it does look to be a good result.

Well done as the inside will be just as clean.

I used to look after about 20 cleaners for a watch factory in Watford
