Hi all

I've recently bought myself a CLK 270cdi W209 model, 2003 year. It seems the wheels have been upgraded, the tyre sizes on the front and rear are the same, 225/35/19. Is having all tyres the same size a problem ?. If possible can someone explain the difference.

Thanks

Having the tyre sizes the same is certainly not a problem, after all most cars have the same sized tyres all round!

Whether the tyre/rim combination that you have is suitable for your vehicle is another matter entirely.

I'm sure that more knowledgeable people than I will be able to tell you that.
Are you having experiencing problems with them?

Hello Maggsi and welcome.

With 19" wheels on the 209 that size all round is fine

Hi Chris

Thanks for getting back. Not having problems, but all info on Mercedes tyre sizes seem to advise different size tyres on front to back don't know why. Not sure what tyre/rim combination means, hopefully can get more info soon.

Thanks again

Hi Malcolm

Again thanks for quick response. Good to hear this is not a problem. Put my mind at rest.

Thanks

Mark
