my wife does not go onto this mercedes site so i can be honest. it's intended to be a fun question as my wife is a blond ferrari, stunning looks but gets a lot of headaches.
but more seriously you can very easily see that some men do think more of their cars than there wives, or at least give this perception.
if a man's car is poorly, he is poorly, untill it is fixed, especially if he gets info and fixes it himself, real assonance means, ( ar't i a clever boy ) one of the bulls---it marketing words.
some time ago i bought a 3 months old 911 carrera porsche from a sucessfull builder in blackburn lancashire, i had to pay more than he paid for it , 2,000 miles and it was as new. he said the car was fabulous but had been abused by his wife, because he polished it and druled over it she got jelouse and one night after a few alchoholic beverages she got upset and filled the car with soil from the garden, within 6 inches of the roof, took her 2 hrs.
it took him the whole of the next day to remove the attack.
he said he could not get it on after this incident and decided to sell the car.
the car was a non turbo, but very quick, i went to scotland many times in it, great handling in the dry, challenging on wet roads.
my daughter once took me for a drive locally and scared the pants off me, she could handle a car, she now has a AMG merc. sports, awsome.but only room for one passenger, or her dog.
when i go out with my wife i sit in the back seat of our e-300 td 7 seat, est. car. i only realise how big this bus is when i travell in the back seat, how many of you have tried this, it is so enjoyable, the engine noise is absent and the true size of the car and smooth glide along feeling is far better than sitting in the front passenger seat.
mercs are special, we have had this one for 12 yrs from new. we still cannot find anything else which will top it, but it is now part of the family and i would have to spend £50K to match it, so i am happy for it to be in my funeral courtage.herbiemercman.
