I went on a 200mile trip recently and came back safely however the following day the car began to cut out when warm. Have changed fuel pump relay amd currently unsure about the had been changed but questionable quality.

The car runs for approx 3mile b/4 cut-out so pls help.

Could this be KE unit?

Do not think it is the KE unit, could be fuel pump, does the car start again.

Car starts but only after an interval of about 10 mins but interval starts to increase as the number of restarts does

On thinking the biggest problem with electrics on a 124 is the overvoltage relay, they have poor soldered joints, this is a listed 124 fault for stop starting.
