Does anyone know the towing limits for a 300TD 1983?

I have the MB towbar but can't read the weight figures stamped on the plate Can anyone tell me what the specifications are in terms of allowable towing weight?

1999 W220 S320
Assuming it's a W124, I think the whole series were rated at being able to tow 1500kg, with a nose weight of approx 50kg. This will cover most caravans and trailers. Certainly my 260E W124 was at these specs.

1983=W123 but I do not think it would be much different anyway.
