Nope, not normal, they have creased when settling.
Lift the car up, get the air out and then drop it back to the ground so it sits on it’s stops, then let it inflate from there, the most difficult thing will be to drop it down without them creasing again now they have done it once
As above, not right at all. What’s the silvery looking thing at the bottom, resting on the top of the wishbone? Hopefully not the tie that secures the bottom of the outer dust boot…
They only fit in one position , they are upright until the weight of the car is back it , obvs i didn't see what the originals looked like on the ground as the car was on its knees
It’s important to lightly inflate the bag with the lower mounting bolt left slightly loose and the weight of the car supported on a jack. Once the initial inflation is complete the bag finds its position and you can tighten the lower bolt. There are dimensions for the clearance of the bottom plate to the arm for each side, usually on a paper in the box. If you lower the car right down and expect it to pick itself up from there with a new bag, you’ll often end up with what you have pictured.
