Ever notice how there's always a spiders web between door mirrors and car doors?

Despite blasting around the edges of the mirror glass on my SLK's door mirrors with a hose jet within a day or two it's back.

Is it some sort of modern Darwinian evolutionary development in a new sub-genus of arachnid or is it that the car door mirror is spider des-res supreme?

Do we get a better class of spider in MB?

Or is it just me?

I believe that they're a subspecies of the Australian Travelling spider. They tend to take time off and like to travel far and wide, but somehow always end up in Blighty.

I've had one for about three weeks now - maybe I should wash my car. ;)
