Downstream Nox sensor part

Hi,
I have a c200 petrol and am waiting on the downstream nox sensor since Feb of 2022. The loughton branch in London have been rather unhelpful stating they have already escalated it once and there is nothing they can do.
Is anyone else experiencing this length of delay or has?

What are my options here as im really frustrated with this EML and ive been driving it and the performance does feel slightly sluggish.

Ive also emailed MB UK and have had no reply.

Any thoughts pls

Not great service. Try mailing many dealers for stock info. Made by lowest bidder to shxte std often retailed at eye watering costs.
Primary supplier just can't supply at failure rate.
Covid is a pretty lame excuse now.

i cant do that as i am covered under extended warranty and as this order was created by Loughton branch, only they can supply and fit at no extra cost to me. Emailing other branches would mean paying for the part and fitting it in

Buy a spare elsewhere and get it fitted by an Indie!

i pay a bomb to have an extended warranty and if i have to buy and fit it myself or in a random garage, it defeats the purpose of having MB do what they should be doing. I have a feeling its just the dealership trying to avoid a long insurance job....

Imagine if the case, pts are pending at current dealer you will have to go direct to benz or as previous, wait.
U cud try looking pts elsewhere and making dealer aware that you know where to find them.
As previous given failure/updates pts related to this component out of stock cud be accurate.

Xactly. Prb today is customer service post banking cheque is crxp, pretty much anywhere and not all benz dealers are the same!!

they defend and say that they will only warrant for their genuine parts they get from MB, Germany and cannot speak for others

Some nox sensors are back ordered, none in Germany either, we have waited months for some to turn up.

We had one on order for 9 months for a C200 before it turned up.

World wide shortage of semi conductors and microchips is the issue as well as the demand for NOx sensors across every car manufacturer due to tightening emissions programmes.

Which dealership was this ? its not a bad wait! its been 14 months and still waiting

The dealer group I use is South West Group, however it is irrelevant as they are supplied by the parts hubs at MBUK in Milton Keynes or MBAG in Stuttgart. It's not the fault of any dealer if the manufacturer cannot supply the part.

Ask for some form of reduction on your extended warranty due to the fact they can’t keep their part of the deal in an acceptable timescale
