Dpf and limp mode.

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- ford kuga 65 plate awd powershift .
Morning men. My cars gone limp and icarsoft says component failure bank 1 soot. Anyone in the know if this relates to the dpf pressure sensor. Car wont rev past 3000. I've tried twice driving at 2500 rpm and still limp. Icarsoft did say a regeneration was possible after a 3 minute test . Any help greatly welcomed.

i reckon you need to force a regen regardless pal , you need to be sure there isn't a blockage of soot before diagnosing wether a sensor is faulty

Soot shows as 0.07 oz

Ash as zero .

Fill level 386 % . Whatever this is ??

oh right , somethings had a paddy then pal , as you suspect it may turn out to be a faulty DPF sensor then , yours is the twin turbo right ?

Did you clear the fault before going on the drive?

yes i cleared all faults, now i just get the 1 fault . dpf wont regen as long as the sensor is duff, so only 1 way to find out.

I have had ongoing issues with my differential pressure sensor for about 2 years now. The problem comes and goes. Had the sensor changed twice. The eml comes on maybe 2 or 3 times a year stays for a few days then buggers off. I have only had the soot accumulation code once and I forced a regen. Never been back on then was in May last year. The deferential pressure sensor seems to be connected with the bank one exhaust temp sensor as that sometimes appears with it. I have learnt to live with it. :D
