drainage blockages under bonnet c200 coupe 2002

Recently had to replace ecu due to flooded ecu compartment. Presume this is a drainage channel prob so how do I locate them and clean them out?? Not great at mechanics so any straightforward guides much appreciated

A couple of metres of net curtain wire is useful here. Oddly enough my local hardware shop sells more of it for cleaning car drainage channels than they do for holding up net curtains!
