As title, is it possible to access the washer bottle drain plug without dropping the NSF inner wheel arch off?

Also, does anyone have an exploded diagram of said item they could post up/email?

Thanks in advance, as usual.

Thanks for that, Malcolm.

I suppose the only way to drain the bottle is to syphon it or let it run dry.

Or remove the pump?

Think I'd be tempted to insert a tube and flush it out?

That's what I'd do & have done on previous cars .... far easier than removing the bottle & less chance of breaking something into the bargain

The over flow will do no harm where it is located, milton tablets work well

Thanks for that reassurance.

Draining and refilling with Milton was the general idea.

Wife's in town, she's now detouring to a hardware shop for 2m of 10mm tubing :)

Wet and Dry Hoover or carpet cleaning machine is what I used,
with a long bottle brush and a smaller pipe in the hoover nozzle.

That is your answer with the added action if it is really dirty and when empty flush with garden hose, repeat above then top up with water and Milton fluid rather than tablets leave as long as possible - overnight if you can. Then repeat Frontstep's advice flush again with hose then add your chosen mix of washer fluid and water.

Did mine a couple of weeks ago given it was really mucky after ten years of doing its job.;)

In the end I just used the washer jets to empty the bottle, refilled it, repeat until it ran clear, repeat, repeat.

Then filled it to 80% with strong Milton solution and left it overnight.

Today I topped it off with screen wash to ~20% concentration.

New wipers on order.
