Hi All,
This happend to me recently and I was interested to know if anyone else has had a similar instance.
I have a b class 200 cdi cvt.
I was going round a roundabout and took an exit reaching about 20 mph. I heard a loud crunch from the gearbox and it went into neutral and the revs went to about 4000.
I got an error fault in the car, so I coasted to a stand still.
I stop the car and attempted to restart it.
It restarted again but with no fault, and when I tried to put it in gear I got no power (forward or backward)
Anyway it turned out to be a drive shaft (not sure how).
Has anyone had this on a car <3 years old?
Regards Suki

I will let you know if I have any issues with this. However the guys at Mercedes said that they had never heard of this happening before!
I just hope it did not damage the car in any other way.
