Does anyone know the part number for the drivers side door mirror glass on a 2004 R230 SL.

Lots of Part numbers for mirror glass. Heated and dipping will be one of the more expensive part numbers. No' 30 in list.

Thanks. These are for a left hand drive SL, I need the drivers door mirror glass for a right hand drive car. The glass is auto dimming so as usual it will be expensive!

What did it cost in the end buddy , I’ve got some funny sort of amber tint developing on the CLK drivers mirror which I think is auto dimming and heating . Not sure I can face asking MB yet .

The “amber tint” is the auto dimming failing make sure you’re sat down when you ask the price…

I just remember a lad at the parts desk say they were stupidly expensive when I was buying a mirror for my Smart. People buy the plain but heated instead

Can I ask where in Germany yo managed to get it.

I have been quoted £398 for the heated and dimming glass. I went back and said "no just the glass, not the whole mirror" and was told that was just the glass!!

According to Mercedes I need part number A1718100421 which is the dimming one and I was quoted £298.80 for it. Part number A2308100421 can also be used it is heated but is not dimming and this is around £100

Just a thought , I’ve kept the old one which went a bit brown on the lens . Is that any good for you ? It’s drivers side
