Dreaming of a CL55k - one day maybe....
Yesterday my seat adjusters worked fine.

Today, my seat backrest adjusts, however it won't move forward or back.

If I move the seat switch, the seat clicks but won't move - it's like it's stuck.

Can't see anything jammed in it - ideas???

Update - Base moves up and down at front, but not at back - does this give a clue?

The Forum Wins through again!

Yellowy 25A fuse in boot was blown.

Weirdly the backrest and squab tilt still worked - but the fore-aft movement didn't - all now working again.

Thank you for your help, just need to replace the spare fuse before I forget and we're done.

Kind Regards

Still think it should be a 15amp. Check in your fuse guide or handbook

Hmm - it's just blown again as well.....

I wonder if previous owner has upped the fuse as it was blowing, although i've had the car a couple of months now and this is first time it's happenned.

I have looked to see if there is anything that might jam the seat and cause it to blow but can't see anything.

I'll check the manual for fuse ratings and see what it says, any ideas what might be causing it?

Thanks
