My drivers side mirror heater is not working and I have been advised that I need a new element.

Has anyone got one for sale and if so how much do you want (incl P&P)?

Are they easy to remove and refit - if so how?

Thanks

Do check that 12 volts is going to the mirror, in most cases it is not the mirror

I believe that if you push the glass in at the bottom, you will see a wire clip along the top , unclip this and the glass lifts out. if you have dimming glass there will be 4 wires on it

Yes, I have the voltage at the mirror, but it rather appears that the element is not working. I have multi -direction capacity but no heat. The passenger one is fine.

You cant possibly know if there is a voltage going to it without removing the glass

I read a post that you replied to that told me how to get the glass off after I had posted originally so I went into the garage and hey presto - took me all of 5 mins. Thanks

I should have searched a bit more before I posted up. But I wanted to be sure. All I need now is the element.
