Dunlop SP Sport 01's

Just had Dunlop SP Sport 01's fitted on the rear of my SLK R170 yesterday at Kwik Fit. 225/45 17. Cost £108@ fitted

They're described as being a 'quiet' tyre for a smooth ride and are fitted to some Mercedes cars for low cabin noise.

Must say I'm very impressed with them, so much so I will be replacing the fronts (Nexens) even though they have a good few thousand miles left on them.

Also had the 4 wheel laser tracking done.

The Dunlops are indeed very quiet and less harsh over bumps

I'm running 19" alloys off a C class coupe.

Highly recommend these tyres though don't know what sort of mileage I can expect, not a great deal I imagine with them being 'sport' tyres.

Thanks Malcolm, that's good news not having to fork out again for a while. My annual mileage is about 6 or 7k and I drive quite lazily for a sport (ish) car

For what it's worth, had them on my Octavia Scout (petrol turbo, Haldex 4WD), and they were very good.

Sold it with 17,500 miles on them and still had 4-5mm on fronts, and more on rear.

I had them on the rear of my S500.

Good tyres, lasted about 10k but got a bit twitchy when sub 4mm.
