my 97 300 d is not starting.
the key was broken a while back, but i taped it together and it was fine till yesterday when it would not start, then it run the battery flat.
i replaced the battery and still wont start, the lights on the mirror are flashing which leads me to believe that the alarm is armmed on it permanantly, i think that a new key will solve the problem would anyone agree with me or any other ideas ???
