E 320 Electrics

Had some recent problems when towbar fitted. After much hassle turned out fitter had not pushed 'Plug in' fully into place!!.
Thought that was all behind me but now the Heated Rear Window wont work and Intermittent W/Wiper starts intermittent and then goes into continual wipe mode. Pulling hair out-- not much left in first place. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Can we have some more information about your car please? Either year and body type or even better the first 6 numbers of the VIN e.g. WDB210726.

Yes as above but more details of the car,, it looks as though they have been plugging things into a live SAM

Your faults are all to do with the rear SAM,,as my earlier post if things have been plugged in while live, the the SAM could be damaged.

You have no choice other than to find an indie with STAR to see if it can be reprogrammed or if it is damaged and needs replacement

Many thanks for replies - problem clearer now. Presume STAR is analysis system for this type of prob-- Will find local Auto Electrics place that use it.
