e320 cdi, 2002 year, 210 model , 240000 miles , car went into limp mode so i changed the maff sensor, every thing was ok for 15000 miles then had same simptons ,changed maff sensor for another new one , both were pierburg ,the new sensor was ok for about 800 miles and now it seams to be doing it again, surly it cant be the new sensor ,is there anything else that it could be? after traveling maybe 5 or 10 miles at speed it seams to go into limp mode ,it wont kick down or the turbo wont come in , if i stop and switch of for 10 seconds, when i start up every thing is back to normal ,the computor seams to have reset its self. any one got any ideas , thanks in antisipation ........

Suggest you have the system checked on a star diagnostic machine, they will cancel all the codes then drive the car and recheck for fault codes that come back, you may have an underlying problem that is causing the maf to malfunction, the maf may be ok..
