Hi all,

I'm sure there are people on this site who have used this seller from Germany but i have been ripped off for 140 euro's by him. I paid for a set of amg rear lights over a month ago and he sent me some plastic "chrome" sticky stuff that goes round the rear lights instead. I e-mailed him and he told me to send it back which i did. That was over 3 weeks ago, still no lights and no reply to over 10 emails.....am now trying to get my money back from paypal. I managed to get some comms with him only after i left negative feedback to which he did the same to me saying it had been shipped!!! i sent another e-mail to him asking where my order was and when did he ship it? Still no reply....I doubt i will see them but at least i may get my money back from paypal, i now have negative feedback ( the only 1 i have) on my e bay account even though i sent him at least 3 e-mails telling him i would do so if he didn't reply to me....BEWARE!!! Seller's e bay name is XERONY

That guy also sells chrome grills (stick on plastic) I am surprised that he is still allowed on Ebay

If you paid by PayPal/credit card, ask your card issuer to make a chargeback on the grounds that you did not receive the goods. I've had to do this twice. There was no come back from PayPal.

This seller has a 99% positive feedback profile. Looks pretty good on the face of it but if you dig deeper you see that some negs have been withdrawn by mutual agreement. The seller is German and most of feedback is in German so I may have missed negs disguised as positives or neutrals.

By leaving negative feedback (tightscotsman) before the seller has given feedback you were leaving yourself open to a retaliatory negative. A seller, when paid, should leave appropriate feedback. The buyer, when they receive the goods, should leave appropriate feedback. That was how it used to be on eBay. Nowadays dodgy (and not so dodgy) sellers want to reserve the right to give retaliatory negative feedback in the hope that it can be negotiated away ("rating mutually withdrawn")
