Hi All
I have had a reconditioned gearbox and torque converter fitted last week from a written off vehicle that has done 45,000 miles.
It has been driving great since both items have been fitted for about 3 days!
I am now experiencing when driving in E & S mode an intermittent fault what I can only describe as "slipping".
Basically, I accelerate in either mode and it would not go any faster but just rev., this can happen at anytime.
I also cannot change the drive mode when this "slipping" occurs.
I then have to stop the car turn off the engine and restart.
I am now arranging to take it back to the garage in the next day or so.
Fellow Mercedes drivers, have you any suggestions as to what this issue could be?
