E/CLS55 & CLS63 5.5 - LSD?

Have you written off an E63 5.5 TT?
Get the S version and it comes with LSD already fitted.
They do come with quite a high premium over the standard version though.

I’d have more chance of going after a cls63 5.5 than the E. But, it really depends on what happens to be available, get a couple of test drives and there’s no urgency. However there’s something about the older Kompressor that appeals to me more (they won’t make them like that again), and the pedigree of a 911 after experiencing a customer’s c4s, driven far below it’s capabilities, it was able to ignite a of joy of driving that I last experienced some 20 years ago in my first E34 M5 3.8.

@V6Matty and @John Laidlaw - thank you for mentioning the aftermarket route. I just contacted Birds, who did one of our project cars 8 years ago (E36 3 series now with a Bentley 6.0ltr twin turbo engine). Surprisingly they hold lots of the Quaife LSD's in stock for Merc's and quoted me on supply & fit on a CLS55 and CLS63 and the price is very decent.
