I own a 1988 560sl and was told that the EHA valve is bad. Can anyone tell me what this is and used for? Thanks in advance for the cooperation

EHA is under the airbox, on the side of the fuel distributor and its where the fuel/air mix is measured. If the EHA valve is borked you can get poor running stumbling and erratic behaviour. It cant be repaired.
