E200 Interior Light

The interior light in my E200 (2005) has failed to operate either by the switches inside the car or when locking or unlocking the car remotely.

This said yesterday the interior lights did come on once when opening remotely but never worked since.

Would anyone have any ideas of where to look for a cure please?

Do not forget that these switches are a 3 way toggle action, and you may have info in you consumers menu in the cluster

As for Malcolm. The different switches, when out of phase with each other, give the impression that the lights are not working.

Just have a seat in the car in darkness and try all the combinations, whilst opening and shutting the drivers door. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

He should have visited 150 miles north of Stockholm in the Winter where there is no daylight at all
