Hi guys, would appericate if someone could help. I've bought my 1st merc about 3 weeks ago and the wipers don't seem to work now. Even if I've it on any speed, they just don't seem to be moving at all. Is it a problem with wiper motor or has the fuse for wipers gone. Please help! Thanks for your time, Nav.

It may be an idea to check the fuses first. It was 16A (red), No2 in my old car.

Cheers guys. I put the new Fuse 16A Red one in the 2nd one and it works fine. Now the headlights to give way and some other things are working as well. The state of other fuses is pretty bad, do you think I should change all of them or leave it alone until they go one by one. Also I noticed that there's no Fuse in slot 11. It says that Fuse 11 is for Intake Manifold Heater (gearbox oil cooler). Is that something normal? If I need to place a fuse in their, then which one should it be? Again, thanks for the help.

Those are the ones. Red, white and blue pils. What about fuse 11. There's nothing in it.

Do you have a little insert card, with the description of what each fuse is for? If it helps, I can write out the fuses for a 1990 230TE, they might have changed stuff with the model revamp.

Glad to here you got it sorted.

Fuse no: 11 is: fuse not occupied (possibly for some option not on European cars) (or a spare for an option not invented at time of fusebox design)
